Water sports are very popular in Fuerteventura. Windsurfing, surfing, diving and snorkeling are just some of the sports available to try. Golf is also very popoular with two 18 hole golf courses and a driving range, only 1 mile away from our house. The Spanish open was played here in 2004 at one of these courses.
OUR HOLIDAY HOME
Our house is on a small complex surrounding two swimming pools in a small village . The house includes two living rooms, one with two sofa beds, a kitchen/diner, bathroom with shower, a south facing furnished balcony. Downstairs there are three bedrooms with two single beds in each. One with the beds pushed together like a double bed. A shower room with toilet and sink. One bedroom leads out onto a walled patio area, with a washing line. In the main living room there is a English Satellite TV and a DVD player with lots of DVD's to watch. In the second living room there is another portable TV & PS2, (games are not provided). The house is well equipped with fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave, George Forman grill, electric four ringed hob, iron, ironing board, hairdryer and all kitchen equipment and crockery etc., for up to eight persons.

With year round sunshine Fuerteventuura is only 100 kilometers from the West African coastline and is on the same latitude as Florida and Mexico, (but half the flight time and cost) making it a great winter or summer retreat.
